Description
Long, thin red fruits (10–25 cm), 30 000–50 000 SHU. One of the most important spice peppers globally. Named after the city of Cayenne in French Guiana. Widely used dried and powdered in French, Indian, and Tex-Mex cuisines. Also used in topical capsaicin creams for pain relief.
